Holiday activities

What to do with a lot of time

Amazing how the time goes by so fast. I really don't meant to write my next post so late, but I guess you all know how the circumstanses are when you have holidays. Beside having so much to do in the first time, you're just too lazy to think about things like writing or such stuff :D. Anyway - now it's time for the next post and what a surprise - it HAS something to do with things I did in my holidays so far :D. After all I have to say, there was nothing really special except visiting an Open Air festival of "Spree Radio". It was a bigger festival as I expected first ( but maybe this was just because I've never been on an open air before :D ) and there were some quite known artists ( like the Weather Girls oder Suzi Quatro ). My boyfriend had four tickets for it for free and actually we wanted to go together with Hanna and her boyfriend, but unfortunately Hanna came down with a cold and we had to go all alone :3. It took place at the "Kindl Bühne" - Wuhlheide in Berlin and wanted to give people in the age of 40 - 50 a review of their childhood. I guess Eric and I were the only young people there :D. But nevertheless it was a very nice day and we enjoyed the music and the food there. If you're in Berlin you should look for a festival at the Kindl Bühne, because they're always really good.

Apart from that, all I did was spending time with my boyfriend, went to several walks through Berlin, shopped a lot ( Primark :D ) and tried to become a little bit more brown ( not really successfull at all ). Now I'm looking forward to my birthday this Saturday :).

Why it was so quite on our Blog in the last time...

Hey Guys probably some of you noticed that it was very quite on our Blog, but I promise you - it was not  because we forgot you or we were annoyed of blogging :

Nope - it had another reason:

♥ We went on our class-trip to Italy

It was a very nice week - we had the best weather I could imagine *-*
Our class have chosen a little village called Bibione, which is located at the Adriatic coast.

It was the last trip with our class, because now we get splitted into our chosen grades... :
We went to Venezia ( most beatiful city I've ever seen )  and

to the biggest cave in Europe (bbboorrriiinnnggg cccaaaavvvveee :D )

We also chilled a lot on the beach, but I guess you all know how chilling on the beach looks like. ;)
And of course we shopped a lot in Italy
It was the best class-trip we ever had !!

Today's fashion haul

All I need for this summer

Today I went shopping with my mom. I mean, there's nothing wrong with going shopping with your mom, I enjoy it very much and she has all the money that I need :D. The Alexa is one of the best places to waste some money. If you wasn't there already or if you're not from Berlin, you should definitely go there. I guess it has most of the shops which are well known (Like H&M, Pimkie, Mango, Vero Moda.. ). Everytime I go there, I lose a lot of money - even if this wasn't my intention :D. So, I want to show you the results of my fashion haul.

Blue and withe dress - Tally Weijl ca. 26
Very like this dress, even if I normally don't like
Tally Weijl because of its bad quality. But you can
shurely find some surprises there ;).

Lilac coloured dress - H&M ca. 25
H&M is one of my favourite shops. There is no day, I can't
find something to buy. The dress has a very good quality and
I very like it's beautiful pastel-colour. Worth the price.

Dark red hot pants - H&M ca. 15 €
They have a beautiful cut which can perfectely conceal some
shaping problems. I don't like my tighs, but this hot pants
make them look a lot smaller.

Flowered bikini - Pimkie ca. 20 €
I've searched such a long time for a bikini today. It was the thing
I needed the most because of our class trip to Italy next week.
I was so desperated.  At last I found a beautiful one at Pimkie.
The best thing about it: It makes your breasts look bigger :D.

Flowered jacket - Vero Moda ca. 50 €
I don't like jackets at all. Even in winter I don't want to wear one
(That's the truth - just ask one of my friends :D). But now I've found
a pretty one at Vero Moda and fell in love with it. The fabric is very
soft and it feels like silk on your skin. It's a perfect jacket for the seasons
spring and autum, because it's not too thick and not too  thin.

At last I bought a new lipstick

Raspberry from Yves Rocher.
What I like about Yves Rocher is, that everything is produced very natural there.
My lips are sensitive and can't take all of the given products.
Furthermore, it was very cheap - just 3,50 €
The colour is very bright and shiny and the texture is perfect for a hot summer day

Rainy Weekend :(

This Weekend was so rainy :( And I'm mostly  sad when it rains...
But I have a plan for such weekends !

1. Use the bad weather to do something good for yourself
Take a bath, paint your nails, or whatever makes you feel good! :)

My favorite nail lacquers for a rainy day: * 800 Heavy Metallilac by Catrice* 492 by Make up factory * Mint Candy Apple by Essie * 030 Oh so pretty by P2

2.Buy your favorite treat (no matter how much calories it has - just enjoy it ! :P )

My favourite treat is ice-cream - and the best one in the whole world is Cookie Dough.
I also really like Tea when the weather is bad, this one is a Rooibos with caramel flavour. ;)

3. Do something you kicked down the road !

After you did it, you feel a lot better ;) And you can't go out, so you have no excuse :D
( I organized my school stuff and cleaned up my room )

4. Meet your friends, or just call  them.
I do this because I mostly feel alone when I'm sitting  in my room, and I got this feeling that every body, except me, is going out on a party...

Last School Day -10th Grade

Yesterday, our school and our 10th grades celebrated their last day of having lessons this year. Well, there will be two weeks left untill summer holidays, but it's just one week of projects and one with our class trip to Italy. So I guess it's possible to survive this :D. In our school, we have the tradition to dress up like a given motto on this day. It's a different one every year and almost everyone does with it. Some people of our grades we'll never see again, because now we finished our school education, they start a training for their later work. Furthermore we will be splitted in different classes next year because of our chosen subjects. It's such a lot of fun to freak out for one day. Our motto this year was "Bad Taste" and .. I guess we did it very well :D.  don't want to write a lot today, because I guess the pictures speaks themselves;).

Poached eggs for a hungry girl :D

Hey guys,

Today I want to make my first post which has the topic cooking. I promise you that there will be another one in the next week. Today I came home and was fucking hungry. I decided to make a very fast and tasty snack for myself.
I hope you will like it. :)

You need:
° 1 or 2 eggs
° egg boiler , which can poach your eggs
°  your favourite vegetable, I took rucola because of the bitter taste
° a few drops of oil
° salt and pepper
° 1 or 2 slice of cheese

1.
At first I washed the rucola and cut it into smaller pieces. Then I put the stems away (don't miss the washing or you will have an amount of sand in your eggs :D)
after cutting the cheese into slices with a knife. (Everything will be easy in this recipe!)

2.
Then I put a few drops of oil into the poaching forms in which you'll also put the eggs. (I've broken one egg, but it doesen't mattered for the final taste :D).

3.
I first sprinkled the rucola and then the cheese over the eggs. (Still be very easy :D )
Then I put the measured water in the boiler. The nearly last step is to salt and to pepper the eggs. :)

4.
Then I started the boiler and waited 8-12 minutes. During this time I cut a slice of bread to dip the slices into the poached eggs when they are done. I also filled my glass with tomato juice.  I LOVE TOMATO JUICE *-* <3
I really prefer these fast and easy recipes because when I'm hungry I don't wan't to wait a long time until I get my meal. :P And it also tastes amazing - if you try it you could certainly use other vegeables or meat for it.

That was my first recipe for the Blog, please tell me what you think about it and how we could improve our Blog. :*

First hair dyeing

A bigger challenge as expected

A few weeks ago, I've decided to dye my hair from dark brown to toffee blonde. Previously I promised myself to never dye my hair, because it is my greatest treasure - but you know, there's always a day on which you'll break all your promises and just do what you want to do.
So, after a long search for the best colour that could suit me, I finally found one which looked perfect to me. It was the Garnier Nutrisse Creme in 70 (Toffee). I always use products from Garnier, because in my opinion their are all working well.

Now after using it, I can definitely recomment this hair dye to you.
The product is very easy to handle. The instructions are easy to understand and there is everything you need inside. Just because it was the first time, this was very important for me. Another good reason for buying this product is the pleasent smell of it. I guess everyone who already dyed his hair knows the obnoxious smell which hair dyes have very often. After the apllying of the composition, you'll just have to wait 30-40 min. untill your hair is ready to be washed out. In the wrapping you'll find a hair care product which protects your hair from looking that broken.

Because it was the first time I did it, my mother helped ( and reassured :D ) me. But everything wasn't so easy as it seemed to me. My hair is very thick ( we had to buy two packs of the hair dye ), and it still wasn't enough to cover up all of my hair. I was so afraid of having two different hair colours :D. But in the end it turned out that my hair colour not really changed at all. That is not the fault of this product, but mine. I was sure that my hair wouldn't be too dark to dye it blonde. I guess it was a fallacy :D. Now I'm not sure if I should do it again, but if I'll do it, I'll definitely use Garnier

Here are some tips I can give you if you want do dye your hair in the next time:
  • At first: Think about your discission twice. If you are finally not satisfied with the result, it's your problem. You shouldn't dye your hair in the next time again, because ( as you surely know ) hair dye destroys your hair and leads to hair breakage if you do it too often.
  • Make sure that the colour you've chosen is the right for you.
  • If you've got dark hair ( like I have ), you should always take a hue that is lighter than the result you want to achieve. Don't be afraid, it will be always darker than the picture on the cover. Instead you can also use a brightener, but that's no good idea if the health of your hair is important for you.
  • If you've got light hair and you want to dye it in a dark colour, you should do it very carefully and if it is possible in several steps. It often happens, that the hair is getting a green touch if you don't follow the right instructions.
  • If you've got very thick hair, you should buy more than one packs of the hair dye. Better too much than too little. Furthermore you should ask your parents or friends if they could help you, because it is not easy to do something like that, with time pressure, for the first time
After your hair dyeing, your hair will have a lot of split ends. Perhaps it will feel a little bit like you would brush the hair of a barbie :D. To do something good for your hair, here's another product from Garnier I would recomment you.
I use it for two months now and it is great.
I can absolutely see the difference between my hair at the beginning and now.

xoxo Nina

Do it yourself :*

How to make a donut for your hair ?
Today I would like to share my first DIY with you. :
The pictures haven't the best quality, but I hope you will nervertheless understand the steps :D

1.  You will need:
Tights (perhaps one you can't wear anymore)
Please wash them before using them, or everyone will wonder why you smell like old cheese. :P
And a scissors for cutting the legs of (Sound very brutal, but I promise you the tights won't feel the pain :D)

2. You simply have to look where the part of the pants (or however this part is called :D) ends.
And then you just cut the legs of :
You have to decide what do you want to do with this part. I threw it into the trash basket, but perhaps you need such a granny slip. :

3. After you made this hard decision-  what to do with your new granny-pants - you'll cut off the end of the legs ;).

4. Now the little bit tricky part starts.
Roll the leg by starting with the wider part, untill you reach the small end.

5.  Now put  the small donut in the smaler end of the second leg and roll it up till you reach the wide end. :)

6. Now you are done ! <3

Who we are

Part II - Hanna

Today I wan't to answer some questions about myself. So you can see wether you can identify with us or not. Because if not - this blog is perhaps not the right for you :
Because I guess that's the most important thing about a blogDo I like the person who is writing it ? (ok it is also important about which things they are writing :D

The 11 (hopefully interesting) questions about me

1. What do I like about myself ?
I'm not the most selfconfident person you could imagine, because I got bullied in primary school, but thats just a reason for loving yourself a little bit  more. ;)
I like that I'm fast at making friends, maybe because I'm open minded and I like to go out and learn to know new people. I also like that I'm quite good at school (and YES I know that's sounds nerdy :D ).
Furthermore I like my blue-green eyes and my classy-style, even if I  sometimes look like all these hipsters. + Videogames - I fuckin' like them (and I'm quite good at them :P )

 2. What do I hate about myself ?
I hate a lot of things about myself.
Ever thought about the most lazy person in the world ?
Multiply this person  with 1000 and you would have got me. :
I'm also very fast afraid of every things which are a little bit scary. I can't watch horror movies, or I will never sleep again and that is a little bit awkward. ( When I was younger, I was even afraid of the sound of the toilet flush :D)

3. What is my greatest quirk ?
Maybe I just ignore them, but I really thought about this question very long.
When I start  reading a new book, I alway read the last sentence at first. And When I'm nervous, I bite the inside of my mouth. :D That's all.

4.  What do I don't like about other people?
Prejudice - every one know that. And I hate it ! All these kind of stereotype thinking isn't very nice at all. And I don't like liars, you know I'm not five years old I can deal with the truth.

5. What do I want to do in my future ?
Honestly I really don't know it yet. Maybe I want to study journalism. It would be great to do something creative. I know that I would like to go to the USA with Nina after my Abitur.

6. What do I do in my free time?
Since my parents were divorced, I searched for my own little perfect world and I found it: Books.
That was the best thing that ever happend to me. I love reading. I love it to read myself into another life where you're just a viewer and you can't react.
I also like to meet my friends - like every teenager does :D I like it the most to do nothing just laying on my bed  and thinking about the sense of life or something more important like: How I paint my nails today  :

7.  Where do I'd like to go?
As an opposite  to Nina this question is easy for me. I weren't at a lot of places in the world, because my parents never had the money to go on vacatopm every year. Sooo I would like to see the whole world. :

8.  Single or Taken?
I'm also taken. ;) Since 31.01.2012
And he is the friendliest person I've ever met. I need him, he takes me as I am.
What I like the most about him is that he sometimes acts like a little boy.

9.  What do I find important about my life?
Good Karma. Do good an good things will happen to you. ( Please don't guess that I'm a crazy esotericism girl :D )
And my boyfriend is one of the most important things for me :

10.   Why do I blog?
Nina already wrote it down perfectly.
So read her post ;)

 The most important one :

11.  What do I like about Nina ?
This question is hard to answer because I don't want to miss a thing.
Maybe I like her that much because of our first meeting, we sat next to each other during the celebration for the primary school starters. ;) I was so exited because it was my first day in school and Nina looked in my eyes and asked me something. ME a strange girl from another kindergarden, I was totaly shocked ! I will nerver forget this moment <3

What I like the most is her sense of humor, she always makesme laugh no matter how bad the situation is!
I love her style ( I also loved it in primary school ;) ) because she is brave enough to wear what she likes and she never cares about the opinion of the others.
I like that I just have to look into her eyes and then I know what she is thinking about. :
She is always honestly to me - also if I would be happier if she would  tell me a lie.
I like her voice when she sings.
And she has always encouraged me without asking me why I wanna take this way in my life.

During our years of hate I always wished for a fairy that would come and bring a best friend.
Now I know that my enemie from this time is the best friend a fairy could give to me..
I hope I never have to miss her again. <3

Who we are

Part I - Nina

Today I want to start with answering some questions about myself. So you can see wether you can identify with us or not. Because if not - this blog is perhaps not the right for you :D I personally like it better if I get to know the people who are writing the blogs I'm reading.
So here we go - 11 questions and its answers about me

 1. What do I like about myself?
First I want to say - I'm not very often satisfied with me. I guess I just feel like many other girls   in my age. There are so many things I would change if I could :D. But I know, no nobody's
perfect and you have to live with what is given to you. What I like most about myself is my
sense of humor and how I can always cheer up my friends, even in very bad situations.
Also I guess I'm very natural and not that kind of artificial that is hiding its feelings and acts always perfectly. I am who I am and I show it to everyone. About my body, I like my figure, my   belly and my hair :D That's not much - but I think enough to be satisfied. And as long as I'm
healthy - I don't care.

2. What do I hate about myself?
Uh, I guess there are countless things I could write down here now, but to make it short
I don't like my smile ( Unfortunately I've got braces ), my nose and that I'm not very
self confident. It's always the biggest challenge for me to be on my own, without other people
who can help me if I get in trouble. But I'll try to change it in my future - I think I have to.

3.  What is my greatest quirk?
I guess my greatest quirk is that I'm so messy. Really - I hate to clean up my room :D. And
in consequence of it - I just do it one or two times every two months. I mean, I'm not that kind
of freak who's collecting all sorts of trash in his room and who not wants to lose a thing of it,
but sometimes it looks like it :D My parents are going to be crazy, but I can be very neatly
too if I want to. Anyway - I feel comfortable with it.

4.  What do I don't like about other people?
I guess nearly everyone knows at least one person in his environment who he doesen't likes.
There can be many reasons. In my case, I can't stand people who are selfish and act like
they would be the middle of the earth. I mean - People who are just talking about
themselves? Boring

5.  What do I want to do in my future?
I'm in the 10th grade now and it's nearly the time to decide about the way I want to spend my future. I often think about it, but I'm really not sure. After I finished my school education, I definitely want to spend a year abroad in the USA. That's one of the biggst dreams of mine.
But what shall I do after that? I guess I'll do something creative, something with
communication. Perhaps I'll study Game Design or design in general. Furthermore I want to
have a family, maybe one or two children. And I want to marry my boyfriend :D.
At last, I would like to move away from Germany - to the USA or another beautiful place.

6. What do I do in my free time?
That's not special. Most I like to sing and it would be the greatest thing for me if I could
someday sing in front of a bigger audience. I just do it on my own without a teacher or something like that, but I guess I'm not that bad. I enjoy listening to music or watching videos
of my favourit Youtubers. I like meeting with my friends ( especially with my best friend
Hanna ), cooking, diving, kissing my boyfriend and many other things.

7.  Where do I'd like to go?
Uhm, that's a difficult question, because there are so many beautiful places on earth I'd like
to see in my life. I guess every place has it's own magic. I think I would like to visit Australia
or New Zealand, because I wasn't already there ( And there are not many places I haven't already visited ). I think they have a beautiful landscape there and many sights I would like to see. Also I would like to meet the people there and learn to know their way of living and their
culture. Places I would like to visit again are definitely the USA ( Hawaii, California .. And
every other of the 50 states :D ), the Maldives, Thailand and many other countries.

8.  Single or Taken?
Taken. I think you already noticed it in this post :D. Since december, I'm together with my
boyfriend Eric. I love him more than anything else in the world. I finally found someone who
loves me with all my flaws and my messy way of life :D.

9.  What do I find important about my life?
Having fun is the most important thing for me. Being young as long as it's possible and
see all I can see in this world. Later in my life, I want to sit in my rocking chair and just want to
think about all of the great moments in my life. And I think I won't regret at least one thing.

10.  Why do I blog?
One year before, Hanna and I started thinking about the idea of starting an own blog,
because we were so impressed by famous blogs which have given us so many tips, and
ideas for our own life. So we wanted to present our ideas too. I personally love it to write
texts and to improve my English. So it sounded like the best way to combine these two
things. For us, it's not important how many people are visiting our blog, we just want to be
part of your life. We do it because we enjoy it and we're having fun. But I don't want to
conceal that we also find it interesting how many viewer we do have. I guess everyone who
has a blog would feel like we do :D.

Last but not least:

11.  What do I like about Hanna?
Well, There are soooo many things. I don't know where to begin :D. We know us since we
were in the first grade, ten years ago. But at first we hated us, we were the biggst enemies you could imagine in this age :D We did always fight and Hanna so often pulled my hair
( I so damn hate it if someone is pulling my hair :D ). But it soon became clear that we
were made for each other. We both had the perfect opposites to make us complete.
Hanna is very open minded. If you want to make new friends - you just have to take her
with you. She's always there if I need her. She gives me all the help I need if I am in trouble
and I love the way I can talk with her the whole day. It always makes my day. Everything's
funny with this girl and I hope I'll never lose her :].

I hope you liked what you read about me and thank you for over 1.000 viewer !

xoxo Nina
